At Bayfields, we take our time to understand your concerns, existing issues, and what you need to make every day easier. Our 45 minute eye tests are a little longer than you might expect, but they're absolutely crucial to keeping you, and your sight, in great shape.

Having been going to my last Optician’s for over 30 years I ...was a little apprehensive about starting afresh with someone new. Kanwaldeep quickly put me at my ease. He explained everything clearly and carried out my eye test extremely efficiently. After the eye examination the receptionist/technician was extremely helpful in helping me to choose suitable frames for my purposes. If you need a great Opticians then look no further than Bayfields, Lightwater.

Excellent service, friendly staff, very professional, knowle...dgeable and lots of good advice on how to take care of your eyesight. Being offered a hot drink too was definitely the icing on the cake, so welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Went for my annual eye test. Maria really looked after us. T...he eye test was very thorough and the lady( forgotten her name) extremely knowledgeable. Harry was, as usual, very helpful. Very enjoyable experience.

It was a real pleasure to have my eye test review at Bayfiel...ds Simon Pestels Lightwater. I absolutely love having a "proper" pair of glasses - at my own instigation (not just readers) with all the quality extras that will take care of my eyes, it feels really honouring and supportive for me, and there is such a difference, I don't know I am wearing them! The young lady who did the test was delightful and caring as was Harry in the choosing and decision making. He knew his field and stock inside out and I knew I had found the right ones almost immediately. It is always lovely to receive the kind of service I love to offer others, for myself, which isn't always so. Highly recommended.

What lovely, engaging, knowledgeable and professional staff ...at this Bayfields opticians in Lightwater. Ganine is an absolute delight to meet as you walk in, Harry - so knowledgeable and helpful with info just not about glasses but visual aids for scuba diving and all sorts of sports and Shivina the optician spoke to me in such detail about how my diabetes affects my eyes you could tell they were all experts in their roles. Could not recommend these guys highly enough.
