Bayfields Wellness Programme Roundup

Earlier this year during Lockdown 3.0, Bayfields launched a Wellness Programme to support team wellbeing. Featuring sessions led by experts like Sophie Walsh-Harrington and Kate Clarke, it included 'Find Your Spark' masterclasses, yoga for embodiment, and HIIT for fitness. Despite limited team contact, the program was praised for fostering personal growth and resilience.

Earlier this year, we ran our 6-week Bayfields Wellness Programme. The aim of the programme was to support our team through Lockdown 3.0 by running a series of sessions that would contribute to our collective wellbeing.

The sessions included a ‘Find Your Spark’ Masterclass with Sophie Walsh-Harrington MSc, yoga sessions ran by Dr Fran Corrigall and HIIT sessions with Women’s Fitness Specialist, Kate Clarke.

The ‘Find Your Spark’ Masterclasses were tailored sessions on how to get more out of everyday life and how to find time to engage in an activity that will boost our overall wellbeing. Our team were able to select a creative skill unique to them and learn how to use their creative side to help manage stress.

Additionally, those of us that took part in the yoga sessions were able to learn about embodiment both through movement and reflection. The end goal was to translate what is learned on the mat to our lives off the mat.

Finally, our HIIT sessions with Kate Clarke challenged us to complete 30-minute high intensity workouts. We were also able to learn more about nutrition and were able to set our own goals so that we can work towards living a healthier, happier life.

Despite lockdown reducing team contact, it was heart-warming to see our team participating in and embracing the sessions provided.
