We’re looking for a

Practice Manager

to work in our Newcastle-under-Lyme practice

The role

  • To coach, mentor and develop practice team, to be an ambassador for the company’s vision and values and ensure that the client journey is being delivered consistently to ensure our Eye Care and Hearing Care Clients receive obsessively great service. Driving performance to achieve budget.
  • Client Journey - Own your practice’s Bayfields client journey so that obsessively great service is delivered at every step and to ensure that the sales targets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Coach, mentor, train and develop your team – Provide regular constructive feedback and review meetings and managing performance.
  • Ensure that the practice is adhering and achieving to all operational standards set, including smart booking and diary management.
  • To manage all aspects of practice rota’s ensuring that there is sufficient cover available and all holiday requests actioned within 7 days. Work with other practice managers in area to maintain adequate cover across the area.
  • Understanding of the MI to maintain areas of the budget and ensure that all areas are within spend and stock control is tightly managed

Skills required

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician (DESIRABLE)
  • Ability to coach, develop and inspire teams
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to be understood – verbally and written
  • Ability to build relationships with Eye Care and Hearing Clients.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems
  • Ability to plan, prioritise workloads and delegate accordingly
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience managing a team or deputising in the absence of a line manager and carrying out the required management duties
  • Successful target achievement
