As an Optometrist, you’ll take a different approach when it comes to customer service. It’s about guiding clients through their appointments, building an understanding of their lifestyles, and recommending the right products and solutions. You’ll carry out all consultations, from eye examinations to contact lens reviews, to the highest standards. You’ll be proactive when it comes to solutions meetings and three way handover and you’ll follow GOC and College of Optometry guidelines, while working closely with your practice team to deliver obsessively great service at every step in the Bayfields client journey.
At Bayfields we have a clear purpose of delivering a friendlier, more personal service, spending more time with our clients, listening to their needs to provide the best solution for their lifestyle.
Our 45 minute eye exams are longer than most of our competitors, so you get more time with your clients, every single time.
Part Time - 3.5 days per week (flexible between Monday to Saturday)
An Optometry Degree and GOC registration are essential. You’ll also need excellent communication and listening skills, and an ability to build strong relationships with every client. Accuracy and attention to detail are just as important and you’ll be the kind of person who can diagnose and solve problems and make important clinical decisions when it really matters.
Improving the lives of our fantastic colleagues is every bit as important to us as improving our clients’ lives.
