The Chester store has been a part of the Bayfields family since 2021. Before that, you may have known us as Mullen Opticians. Located in the heart of historic Chester we’ve been warmly welcoming clients new and old for many years now helping them to see better, feel more confident and do more.

To complement the full range of optical services we offer, we've now rolled out full audiological services to make sure that your hearing is just as healthy as your vision. Excellent, professional and friendly service from staff at t...his optician and audiologist which is conveniently located in Chester City centre. Still accept NHS patients for sight tests and services which remains vital for many people.

I had an appointment at Bayfields last week & I was very imp...ressed. It is a very clean & bright place & the staff were excellent. The audiologist was in reception when I arrived. In the room for the mucrosuction, he explained everything he was going to do & what he saw when looking in my ears, one ear definitely needed microsuctio. It only took a minute to do & he said because it'd done it so quickly he couldn't charge me. I asked if I was to pay less & he said no. My hearing is greatly improved & when it needs doing again, I'll definitely go back there.
