If yes, come and join our fabulous team at Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists covering our Headington and Wallingford practices to cover our rota week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am - 5:30pm Wallingford practice & Saturday 9am - 4pm Headington practice & week 2: Monday 9am - 5:30pm Headington practice & Saturday 9am - 4pm Wallingford practice
When you join Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists as our Optometrist, you are joining an independent business. We aim to deliver obsessively great service to each and every one of our clients via our Welcome, Discover, Delight client journey which is at the core of what we do. We provide all clients with a 45-minute eye exam which gives you as our fabulous Optometrist the time to really understand your clients’ needs and lifestyles and then recommend solutions that fit best to that lifestyle. We have the latest diagnostic equipment, the latest technological advances in contact lenses, spectacle lenses and frames, and the latest fashions.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to £65k per annum (pro rata for part time hours).
- Paid professional fees. GOC and professional indemnity which is currently the AOP

What We're Looking For:
- A qualified and experienced Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- You to provide a 45-minute eye exam which gives you time to really understand your clients’ needs and lifestyle and then recommend solutions that fit best to that lifestyle by following the GOC and College of Optometry guidelines.
- Someone passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care and building strong relationships with clients.
- A team player who thrives in a supportive and dynamic environment who will also be involved in supporting, mentoring and guiding our newly qualified Optometrist.
