Got a little emergency?
We run a free NHS minor eye conditions service, which means that we can have a look if you suddenly develop a problem, and treat you if we can. That includes soreness, itching or inflammation, or problems with your vision. If you need to be referred on to hospital, we can let you know.
You can also bring us your glasses for repairs and adjustments or servicing, wherever you bought them. Simply make an appointment with us and we'll take care of the rest.
What about your hearing?
We run an audiology clinic every Wednesday and Friday. So whether you know you have problems with your hearing or were just wondering, why not ask for a hearing test with us?
Our reviews
In general, the staff are excellent. They make you feel welcome and valued. The eye examination was thorough and the various tests were explained clearly, along with the results. The only detracting aspects were that I was waiting around 10 minutes for the appointment. This is after I booked online and ensured I arrived on time. The other point would be the post examination experience. I was handed to another member of staff where I was immediately introduced to the rather expensive Zeiss lenses. Whilst there was no hard sell, I wasn't asked what I wanted to do or if I had a budget for new glasses.
Had a fantastic experience at the practice The eye exam was extremely comprehensive with everything explained during the exam. Mandeep is a very thorough optometrist who took her time to explain what things meant and actions that needed to be taken The front of house team were all brilliant and courteous and work with a smile on their faces which makes for a much more personal and pleasurable experience. Super experience. Well trained, professional staff who were completely focused on helping me to get what I wanted. At the measuring and fitting of the frames, great care was taken to check it, and get it right first time. Follow up phone call a few days later to ask if fit was still working. IMPRESSED!
Sent here for emergency eye treatment the lady I saw was absolutely amazing. The opticians is clearly not a place I could afford to get my glasses from but I cannot fault how well I was treated especially as i was far from the type of customer they see normally but not one person judged and my care was outstanding
