How to remove contact lenses?
Removing lenses is simple once you master the technique. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Look up, pull your lower eyelid down, and use your finger to gently slide the lens down onto the white of your eye. Then, using your thumb and index finger, gently pinch the lens off your eye.
Your optometrist will ensure you can do this comfortably during your contact lens fitting.
How to put contact lenses in?
Start with clean, dry hands. Place the lens on the tip of your index finger, ensuring it’s the right way up (it should look like a small cup, not a bowl with flared edges). Use your opposite hand to hold your top eyelid open. Look straight ahead, gently place the lens on your eye, and slowly close your eye. Blink gently to settle the lens.
